WHAT TO DO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

By -

The National Student Advocacy conference is just around the corner. For more information on registration and the hotel go to http://asacc.org/conferences/. As a staff, we want you to fully experience our Nation’s Capital. Part of attending a conference, especially in our nation’s capitol, is taking advantage of seeing the sites and learning the history of the area. The conference hotel is just blocks from Capitol Hill, as well as the House and Senate office buildings. There is also the National Mall, which features dozens of museums, monuments and views of the White House, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial and the U.S. Capital.

There are many free and inexpensive things for students to do. For more information visit http://washington.org/100-free-and-almost-free-things-do-dc and click on travel tips.

We look forward to seeing you!
