The ASACC National Conference is only one month away and we can’t wait to see everyone gather together with one voice to advocate for what we believe in.

As you all know, citizenship is one of the three main keys to the ASACC organization. What better way to show and honor our citizenship than by serving in our Nation’s Capital?

As tradition calls, we will be kicking off the conference with a service project at the National Mall. This is one of our favorite parts of the conference because we are able to serve our country together at some of the world’s most famous memorial parks.

We will meet together as a group on Saturday morning at 8 am in the hotel lobby. Together we will walk to the National Mall where the National Parks Service will lead us in a mulching project. What an incredible experience we have to improve the aesthetics of such an amazing place.

Make sure to come prepared with warm clothes that you aren’t afraid to get a little dirty in. Gloves and a sweater are highly recommended. Once we have completed the service project, we will provide a *box lunch for everyone who participated.

*In order in ensure a box lunch for you and your group, make sure to RSVP specifically for the service project when you register for the conference. If you have any questions about the service project, feel free to email the Student Leadership Team President, Zack Dearing at zackydear@gmail.com
